Dear Madam, dear Sir, dear friends,
The Swiss Fair Future Foundation has founded in May 2013 a state organization, recognized by the Indonesian authorities (Ministry of Justice and Human Rights in jakarta) to work legally in all of this huge country, Indonesia. This allows us to put into practice the goals and objectives set by the Swiss Foundation in a legal manner. All activities of the Foundation in Indonesia are carried out under the authority of the Yayasan Bali Sari (YBS), with the collaboration of social services, public health services and others departments.
The Yayasan Bali Sari is run by its Foundation board of 5 Indonesian members. The Yayasan Bali Sari leads the same goals and objectives as her big sister the Fair Future Foundation. Alex, in his capacity as a founder and volunteer collaborator, has an advisory role which ensures that the Indonesian Foundation performs well in its work and transparency in its accounting.
The YBS finances its social and medical activities, thanks to the income generated by its social restaurant, the Fair Warung Balé, but also by its communication and multimedia workshop and by donations funded by the Fair Future Foundation in favor of the YBS. The YBS’s accounting is audited every year by the Indonesian government and receives a new authorization to practice every five years.
